Young Engineers: Magnetic Tile Adventures is a hands-on engineering and geometry course. Learners explore 2D and 3D shapes, structure, balance, and stability through creative building with magnetic tiles and other engaging engineering materials.
Each week introduces a core geometry or engineering concept through guided challenges, open-ended builds, and collaborative projects. As learners plan, test, revise, and share their designs, they develop foundational STEM skills, fine motor coordination, and confidence in problem-solving.
Through playful exploration, learners create everything from towers and bridges to connected neighborhoods while discovering concepts such as symmetry, strength, and design. Activities are intentionally flexible, offering multiple entry points so learners with varying experience levels can learn and succeed together, making this course well-suited for mixed-ability or mixed-age groups.
