Description

This class is all about keeping our young minds connected to nature from a conservation perspective, and to use that connection to initiate global results. We will explore activities from the Florida Junior Naturalist Program on our way to becoming certified Junior Naturalists. We will focus on Project Learning Tree Environmental Education and Conservation with age appropriate activities that truly make learning about conservation fun. We will look into everything from the importance of wildflowers to the importance of watershed balance. We will touch on subjects like erosion and the interconnectivity of humans and all things wild.
The plan is to include varied activities that encourage students of all learning styles to embrace nature and live a life committed to protecting it.
