In Advanced Ceramics we delve into the world of clay and glazes. I teach hand building techniques such as slab building, pinch pot, and sculpting though projects. These projects are used to demonstrate a specific style of clay work, and can be copied, altered, or changed completely.
The projects are kiln fired, and brought back in for glazing. I will have examples of several glazes and combinations of glazes. I have a wide selection of glazes and students may requests additional glazes if there is one I do not have.
We work on a rotation of two clay project days followed by a glaze day.
All finished projects are food safe, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
