Chess & Chess Tournament

The chess class for this semester will be a little different from the classes in previous semesters. I will divide the students into 2 groups.
The first group is for beginners. Each class for this group includes group lessons, supervised game play, and personalized coaching. Children will learn various facets of the game of chess and play tournament-style games. At the end of the 12-week session for this group, there is a chess tournament with prizes - trophies for 1st to 3rd place—and the rest of the players will receive medals.

The second group will be for students who just want to play for fun (no stress from chess tournaments). They will play only friendly games. Everyone from this group will receive a small trophy at the end of the session.
For both groups this semester, we will also have a sticker game with 3 extra chess prizes for 1st to 3rd places.
